How to use it
Mine an ore block while the monocle is equipped. Watch for cyan outlines around nearby blocks of the same ore.
How the power works
The scan selects up to 6 blocks inside an 8-block radius of the mined block and shows outlines for 100 ticks (5 seconds). Only the mining player receives these positions.
Matches use the exact block type: ordinary iron ore and deepslate iron ore are different matches. The scan uses a fixed coordinate traversal; it is not sorted by nearest distance. Supported triggers include vanilla ore tags and block IDs ending in _ore. The feature does not reveal every mineral in the area or mine anything automatically.
Outline appearance through terrain, especially with shaders, still needs visual verification.
Crafting recipe
Ingredients: 4 × minecraft:netherite_ingot, 2 × minecraft:echo_shard, 2 × minecraft:diamond_block, 1 × minecraft:netherite_pickaxe. Produces 1 item.
Requires a crafting-enabled acquisition mode.
