Compatibility

Required and optional integrations

Integration Role Current evidence
Curios API Required accessory inventory, tags and slots Required by metadata; dedicated-server startup checked
Create Optional Master Mechanic availability and powers Historical 0.1.0 startup checks; new power controls still need Create gameplay testing
Ars Nouveau Optional Leyline affordability and cost discount 0.2.0 server startup recorded; casts not yet measured in-world
Iron’s Spellbooks Optional Leyline affordability and cost discount 0.2.0 optional hook/mixin startup recorded; casts not yet measured in-world
FTB Quests / Connected World Achievements External reward integration 0.2.x quest integration deferred; old reward IDs require revision
Shaders and renderer mods Visual environment No blanket compatibility promise; ore outlines and armor need visual checks

No Create dependency is needed to play with the other equipment. The Leyline Pendant needs at least one supported magic mod to have an effect. Installing both supported magic mods does not intentionally give a double discount to a single cast; each integration handles its own casting system.

Modded content support

Shared event hooks, mixins, damage modifiers and customized entity behavior can alter interactions. Test the specific pack rather than treating these matching rules as universal support.

Multiplayer

All players need matching mod builds. The server decides actual power behavior. Version 0.2.1 registers its balance config as a synchronized server config; the common acquisition config is not automatically synchronized. Distribute the intended common config with the client pack too.

Wayfinder trails are visible to nearby players, while Deepstone ore positions are sent only to the miner. K-menu toggles are per-player; global power switches take precedence. Testing with two real clients is still required to prove synchronized movement, visual state and trail behavior.
